BARC OCES Result 2025 Announced: Shortlisted Candidates Move to Interview Round

The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has officially announced the BARC OCES Result 2025, marking a significant milestone for candidates aspiring to join one of India’s premier nuclear research institutions as Scientific Officers. Released on April 9, 2025, the results pertain to the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted on March 8 and 9, 2025, as part of the recruitment process for the Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates (OCES) and the DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme (DGFS). This recruitment drive aims to fill 234 vacancies across various disciplines, including Biosciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Geology, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, and Physics.

Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their results on the official website, barcocesexam.in. The results have been published in PDF format, organized by discipline, listing the roll numbers or application numbers of shortlisted candidates. To check their qualifying status, candidates need to visit the website, locate the “BARC OCES Result 2025” link, and log in using their credentials, such as enrollment number and password, if required, or simply download the relevant PDF. Those who have cleared the CBT will advance to the next and final stage of the selection process—the interview round. The interview schedule is expected to be released soon, with slots likely available for selection between April 17 and April 24, 2025, and interviews conducted from May 19 to June 13, 2025, at BARC Training School in Mumbai (or Hyderabad for Geology candidates).

During training, selected candidates will receive a stipend of approximately ₹74,000 per month, along with other allowances, while the final salary for Scientific Officers is set at Level 10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix (₹56,100 basic pay, with total emoluments around ₹1,34,000).

The final list of selected candidates for OCES 2025 will be published in the last week of June 2025, following the interviews and medical examinations.
