Before solving the question papers, the candidates must keep the following things in mind:

  • In the exam, all questions are compulsory
  • The exam consists of 31 questions divided into four sections — A, B, C and D
  • Section A contains 4 questions of 1 mark each, Section B contains 6 questions of 2 marks each, Section C contains 10 questions  of 3 marks each, and Section D contains 11 questions of 4 marks each
  • Also, the students must note that the calculator is not allowed

Quick tips to prepare well

  • Make a list of all important formulae and concepts for quick revision
  • Solve all NCERT questions and solved examples
  • Understand the formulae
  • Do not skip any topic, complete the syllabus thoroughly
  • Identify your weak areas, where you are unable to answer and work on those areas.
