The class X (board-based) and class XII exams of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin from March 2. The class X exams will conclude on March 26 and class XII on April 20. The class X (school-based) exams will start from March 10.
There is 3.37% increase in the number of students appearing for class X exams. Last year, 13,28,970 students appeared and this time the number is 13,73,853.
There is 1.01% increase in students taking class XII exams. In 2014, 10,29,874 wrote the exams and this time 10,40,368 students are appearing.
Class X exams will be conducted in 3,537 centres and class XII in 3,164 centres across the country. Sample question papers have been uploaded on the CBSE website. Students can call tollfree helpline number – 1800 11 8004 – for exam-related queries.
