Practical Exams to Run from July 29 to August 4
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for Class 12 supplementary practical examinations for 2026. Students appearing for supplementary or compartment examinations will take their practical tests from July 29 to August 4, 2026.
The schedule allows eligible candidates to complete their practical requirements and continue with higher education admissions and other academic plans.
Students Must Report to Schools by July 27
CBSE has asked eligible students to report to their respective schools by July 27, 2026. Schools will share examination timings, venue details, laboratory schedules, and other important instructions.
Students should stay in regular contact with their schools and complete all required formalities before the examinations begin.
Guidelines Clarify Eligibility and Requirements
The supplementary practical examinations will help students who need to clear practical components in their subjects. Candidates who must improve both theory and practical scores will need to complete both assessments during the supplementary examination cycle.
CBSE introduced these guidelines to ensure a smooth and uniform examination process across affiliated schools.
