CBSE will review private publishers books prescribed in affiliated schools

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will review textbooks of private publishers taught in its affiliated schools, a board official said today.

The move comes after a controversy over content of textbooks of private publishers sparked a debate on the lack of scrutiny of curriculum taught to children.
