Bengaluru, February 27, 2025 – The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has officially announced the commencement of its recruitment drive for 1,161 Constable/Tradesmen positions. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or its equivalent from a recognized board by the application deadline. For skilled trades such as Barber, Boot Maker/Cobbler, Tailor, Cook, Carpenter, Mali, Painter, Charge Mechanic, Washerman, Welder, Electrician, and Motor Pump Attendant, preference will be given to those with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) training. For unskilled trades like Sweeper, Matriculation or its equivalent is required.

Selection Process: The selection process will include a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), Documentation, Trade Test, Written Exam, and Medical Examination. These stages will be conducted at various recruitment centers across the country3.
Application Fee: The application fee is ₹100 for UR, OBC, and EWS candidates. Female candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Ex-servicemen categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
