Codingal and Hewlett Packard Enterprise announce the fifth online edition of the HPE CodeWars 2025 India – The ultimate high school coding challenge

With participation expected from over 20,000 students, the winners will be awarded prizes worth INR 1,50,000

Bengaluru, 21th March 2025: Codingal, #1 coding and AI platform for K-12 students, today announced it will collaborate with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to commence the fifth online edition of HPE CodeWars 2025, India’s premier annual coding competition for students in grades 8-12. With participation expected from over 20,000 students, HPE CodeWars 2025 will go live on April 13, 2025, continuing to establish itself as one of the largest school-level coding competitions in India.

The competition challenges students to learn and develop their coding skills by addressing real-world challenges in a gamified learning environment. The winners of HPE CodeWars 2025 will be awarded prizes worth INR 1,50,000 including certificates, prizes, and national recognition, reinforcing the competition’s status as the ultimate high school coding challenge in India.

Building on the success of previous editions, HPE CodeWars 2025 India Edition aims to inspire students to think critically, collaborate, and enhance their problem-solving abilities. Participants will tackle 26 real-time coding problems using C, C++, Java, or Python, with a live leaderboard tracking their progress throughout the event.

HPE CodeWars has helped students achieve remarkable success, with past winners securing admissions to top global institutions like MIT and IITs, gold medals in the International Informatics Olympiad, top rankings in national and global coding competitions.
