Bangalore, July 28, 2025 – The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the Round 1 seat allotment results for the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2025 today at 4:00 PM IST. Candidates who participated in the counseling process can now check their allotment status on the official website, comedk.org, using their application sequence number or user ID and password.
The COMEDK UGET 2025, conducted on May 10 and May 25, 2025, is a national-level entrance exam for admission to approximately 26,827 undergraduate engineering seats across 217 participating institutes in Karnataka. The Round 1 seat allotment, announced as per the official schedule, marks a significant step in the admission process for aspiring engineering students.

The seat allotment list includes critical details such as the candidate’s name, allotted college, course, preference order number, seat category, and total fee structure of the allotted institute.
Candidates who have been allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between July 28 and August 1, 2025, with the required documents to complete admission formalities. Those wishing to withdraw their allotted seat can do so within the cancellation window, ending August 4, 2025.
After checking the allotment results, candidates can choose from the following options:
Candidates who do not receive a seat in Round 1 or wish to upgrade can participate in subsequent rounds, with Round 2 counseling dates to be announced in August 2025.
The seat allotment is based on candidates’ ranks, preferences filled during the choice-filling window (July 18–20, 2025), seat availability, and category (General Merit or Kalyana Karnataka Region). A mock allotment was released on July 22, 2025, allowing candidates to edit their choices from July 22 to 24, 2025. The COMEDK UGET 2025 cutoff, detailing closing ranks for participating colleges, will be released soon after the Round 1 results.

The counseling process, known for its transparency and merit-based allocation, will continue with three additional rounds, including an exclusive round for supplementary exam candidates to fill any remaining seats.
