Documents required for COMEDK UGET 2015 counselling

The counselling schedule for Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) is set to begin on June 29. The process will begin with engineering courses, which is scheduled for 11 days. The counselling for architecture will be completed within one day and counselling for medical/dental courses will follow, to be conducted over a duration of five days each.

The counselling process will be conducted at NMKRV College Mangala Mantapa, Bangalore. The documents that students need to carry for counselling are listed below:

  • COMEDK UGET admit card/hall ticket
  • COMEDK UGET rank card
  • Proof of date of birth
  • Photo identity proof (driving license, passport, aadhar card, etc.)
  • Passing certificate for Class 12 or its equivalent qualification
  • Certificate of belonging to a reserved category (SC, ST, OBC, etc.)
  • Demand Draft for payment of fee

The students are required to carry the original certificates along with an attested photocopy of each.

The results for the exam were declared on June 8. Kommuru Alekhya got the first rank in the Engineering stream, she also secured the second rank in the Common Entrance Test (CET). And the first rank under the Medical/Dental stream was secured by Priya Narwal, who got a 173 on 180. She has also bagged the top rank in the CET Medical stream.

The test scores had been declared on May 30, but the final results had been postponed due to discrepancies in the results of Karnataka Second Pre-University Certificate (Karnataka PUC II 2015). The changes were made on the request of Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, the Higher Education Department of Karnataka.

This year, 51,221 applied for undergraduate seats in Engineering, seats of which 43,981 appeared for the test. And 70,968 candidates applied for the Medical stream, out of which 57,885 took the exam. The competitive exam commenced on May 10 in 148 test centres across the state.
