NCERT has released an employment notification inviting candidates to attend the walk-in-interview for the positions of Editors. The interview will be conducted from January 23 to 25.

The National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT) has released an employment notification inviting interested, eligible candidates to attend the walk-in interview for the positions of Editorial Assistant, Editor and Assistant Editor.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

Editorial Assistant: The candidates interested in applying for this post should be holding a degree in arts or science from a recognised university.

Editor: The candidates interested in applying for this post should be holding a Master’s degree from a recognised university.

Assistant Editor: The candidates interested in applying for this post should be holding a  degree in arts or science from a recognised university.

Age limit:

Editorial Assistant: The age of the candidates applying for these posts must not exceed 30 years.

Editor: The age of the candidates applying for these posts must not exceed 40 years.

Assistant Editor: The age of the candidates applying for these posts must not exceed 35 years.

Pay scale

Editorial Assistant: The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 29,000.

Editor: The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 55,000.

Assistant Editor: The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 25,000.

Selection procedure

The candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview.

The candidates interested in these posts are required to attend the interview and carry along their curriculum vitae, original and self-attested photocopies of their certificates, mark-sheets and experience certificates and a recent passport size photograph.
