Guwahati, August 28, 2025 – The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has officially launched the registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 today, August 28, 2025. Aspiring candidates can now apply through the official portal at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. GATE 2026, a national-level examination, serves as a gateway for postgraduate admissions in engineering, technology, science, architecture, humanities, and commerce, as well as recruitment opportunities in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and select international universities.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts daily: a forenoon session from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and an afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, in computer-based test (CBT) mode.
