New Delhi, December 28, 2024 – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has successfully concluded its 60th Campus Placement Programme, marking a significant milestone with record-breaking salary packages and participation. This year’s placement drive saw an impressive average salary offer of ₹12.49 lakhs per annum, with the highest domestic package reaching ₹26.70 lakhs per annum offered by Power Finance Corporation (PFC).
Dhiraj Khandelwal, Central Council Member (CCM) of ICAI, expressed his delight over the success of the placement season, stating, “This year has been a landmark achievement, witnessing the highest-ever participation of 240 companies, the largest batch of newly qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs), and record-breaking salary offers, making it the most remarkable placement season in ICAI’s history”.
The placement season also coincided with the announcement of the CA final results for the November 2024 exam, with Heramb Maheshwari from Hyderabad and Rishabh Ostwal from Tirupati jointly securing the top rank.
This exceptional success underscores the growing demand for Chartered Accountants across industries and highlights the effectiveness of ICAI’s placement programme in securing competitive salary packages for its graduates.
