Unified Application Process Introduced for Technology Aspirants

The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-B) has officially commenced admissions for its B.Tech and Integrated M.Tech programmes for the 2026–27 academic session. The institute has also introduced a unified application process aimed at simplifying admissions for students applying to multiple undergraduate technology programmes.

Officials stated that the revised admission framework is intended to reduce complexity and provide a smoother application experience for engineering aspirants across the country.

Programmes Offered

Admissions are currently open for several undergraduate and integrated technology programmes, including:

B.Tech Courses

• Computer Science and Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

Integrated M.Tech Courses

• Integrated M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering
• Integrated M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering

The Integrated M.Tech programmes are designed as five-year dual-degree courses that combine undergraduate and postgraduate learning within a single academic structure.

Admissions Based on National-Level Entrance Scores

IIIT-B has announced that admissions for the 2026–27 cycle will primarily consider candidates’ performance in national-level engineering entrance examinations. Students can apply using their qualifying scores from JEE Main or JEE Advanced examinations.

The institute is expected to conduct its own admission and seat allocation process independently.
