The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has announced the opening of admissions for the Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Quantum Technology program for the academic year 2024-25. This multidisciplinary program is designed to provide advanced education and hands-on training in the rapidly evolving field of quantum technology.
The M.Tech in Quantum Technology is a two-year program that focuses on various verticals of quantum technology, including quantum computing, quantum communication, and quantum sensing. The curriculum includes core courses, electives, and a final project, providing students with a strong theoretical foundation and practical skills2.
To be eligible for the program, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field, and a valid GATE score in one of the preferred papers: AE, BM, BT, CE, CH, CS, CY, EC, EE, GG, NM, IN, MA, ME, MN, MT, PH, PI, XE, ST, DA.
