Kanpur, June 2, 2025 – The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has declared the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025 today, marking a significant milestone for thousands of aspiring engineers across India. Candidates can now access their scorecards and the final answer keys on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
The JEE Advanced 2025 examination, conducted on May 18, 2025, consisted of two shifts: Paper 1 from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. A total of 1,87,223 candidates registered, with 1,80,422 appearing for both papers. The aggregate marks are calculated as the sum of marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with candidates needing to meet both subject-wise and aggregate qualifying marks to be included in the rank list.
Candidates can check their results by visiting jeeadv.ac.in, clicking the result link, and entering their roll number, date of birth, and registered mobile number. The scorecard includes marks, qualifying status, and category-wise cutoff details.
Qualified candidates are now eligible to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). Registration for JoSAA 2025 begins on June 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM, with candidates able to fill their institute and course preferences until June 12, 2025. For those pursuing Architecture, the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2025 registration is open from June 2 to June 3, 2025. The AAT exam is scheduled for June 5, 2025, from 9 AM to 12 PM, with results expected on June 8, 2025.
