The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025 in two sessions. The first session is scheduled to begin on January 22, 2025, and will continue until January 30, 2025. The admit cards for the first session are expected to be released on January 19, 2025.
How to Download the Admit Card:
- Visit the official website: Go to the NTA JEE Mains official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Log in: Use your application number and password/date of birth to log in.
- Download the admit card: Once logged in, click on the link to download the admit card.
- Print and save: Print a copy of the admit card and keep a digital copy for reference.
Important Details:
- Exam Dates: The JEE Mains 2025 exam will be held from January 22 to January 30, 2025, in two sessions.
- Exam Centers: The exam will be conducted at various centers across India and in 15 cities abroad to accommodate the large number of candidates.
- Exam Shifts:
- Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) will be held in two shifts:
- Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Shift 2: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), and combined Paper 2A & 2B will be held in a single shift from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM on January 30, 2025.
- Mandatory Documents: Candidates must bring the following documents to the exam center:
- Admit card (printed copy)
- Valid ID proof (Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, etc.)
- Passport-size photograph (same as the one uploaded in the application form)
- Exam Pattern:
- Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech): Consists of three sections – Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Each section will have multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical value-based questions.
- Paper 2A (B.Arch): Consists of three parts – Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test.
- Paper 2B (B.Planning): Consists of three parts – Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Planning-based questions.

- Admit Card Verification: Ensure all details on the admit card are correct. If there are any discrepancies, contact the NTA helpline immediately.
- COVID-19 Guidelines: Follow the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the NTA, including wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and carrying personal hand sanitizers.
- Prohibited Items: Do not carry any prohibited items such as electronic devices, study materials, or any unfair means to the exam center.
- Reporting Time: Arrive at the exam center well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card to avoid any last-minute hassles.
