Kar NEET first round results announced

The Karnataka National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 1st Seat Allotment 2017 Results have been declared by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on its official website kea.kar.nic.in. NEET 2017 was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses for the session 2017-18 on Sunday, May 7th, 2017 and the results of the same were declared on 23rd July 2017. Now, every state is supposed to publish seat allotments for candidates seeking admissions in Medical and Dental Undergraduate Courses in Institutions that come under their purview.

How to Check Karnataka NEET First Seat Allotment Results 2017

Step 1: Visit the official website – kea.kar.nic.in

Step 2: Click on CET-2017 – UG NEET (Mock Allotment Result) notification on the homepage

Step 3: It will take you to another page where you need to Click on
CET-2017(UG NEET) Medical and Dental First Allotment Result Link

Step 4: Enter your CET Number and Submit

Step 5: Download your Result and take a Print out for further reference

There are total 8,695 seats out of which 6,390 are allocated for MBBS and 2,305 BDS.

Karnataka Examination Authority had published the counseling schedule for MBBS and BDS admissions on 22nd July 2017. Candidates could enter their options up to 23rd July 2017, 5 PM. The mock allotment results were published by the KEA later and the option entry was once again opened the same day after 8 PM.

As per the High Court’s order for the admission of students belonging to Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) category to Institutional seats, the release of first round allotment was postponed from 26th July (Wednesday) to 29th July 2017.

According to the list, 206 OCI candidates and 42 POI (Persons of Indian origin) have registered for UG NEET 2017. The online option entry window was opened again and closed at 7 PM on 28th July 2017. The qualified PIO/ OCI candidates had to appear for the document verification process on 28th July 2017. Also according to KEA, 85% of seats allocated are for State students and 15% are for All India Quota (AIQ) Seats.
