Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 2 & 3: A Second Chance for Students to Improve Scores

Bengaluru, April 10, 2025 – The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced the schedule for PUC 2 Exam 2 and Exam 3, offering students an opportunity to improve their scores or make up for missed exams due to attendance shortages.

The PUC 2 Exam 2 is set to take place from April 24 to May 8, 2025, while Exam 3 will be conducted from June 9 to June 21, 2025. These exams serve as a crucial lifeline for students who were unable to pass the first round or wish to enhance their academic performance.

Who Can Appear for Exam 2 & 3?

Students eligible for these exams include:

  • Those who failed in the first exam.
  • Those who wish to improve their scores.
  • Those who missed the first exam due to attendance shortages (they can register as private candidates).

No Exam Fee for Students

In a significant relief for students, Karnataka’s Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa has announced that students appearing for Exam 2 and Exam 3 will not have to pay any exam fees this year. This move aims to reduce the financial burden on students and encourage them to take advantage of the opportunity to improve their scores.

Special Coaching for Students

To support students preparing for these exams, the KSEAB has arranged special evening classes in the Kalyana Karnataka region. These classes will help students strengthen their understanding of key subjects and perform better in the upcoming exams.

How to Download the Exam Timetable

Students can access the official PUC 2 Exam 2 and Exam 3 timetable by following these steps:

  1. Visit the KSEAB official website: kseab.karnataka.gov.in.
  2. Click on the ‘Latest News’ tab.
  3. Select ‘Time Table April 2nd PUC Examination 2025’ to open the PDF.
  4. Download and print the timetable for reference.

Revaluation and Retotaling Process

For students who wish to apply for revaluation or re-totaling, the KSEAB has outlined the following details:

  • Scanned Answer Sheets: Available for request between April 8 to 13, 2025.
  • Download Period: April 12 to 16, 2025.
  • Fees: Rs 530 per subject for scanned copies, Rs 1670 per subject for revaluation.
