The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially announced the SSLC 2025 results, marking a significant improvement in student performance. Out of 8,96,447 students who appeared for the exams, 62.34% successfully passed, showcasing a notable 9% increase compared to last year.
A total of 22 students secured a perfect score of 625/625, achieving a rare academic milestone. However, the highlight of this year’s results is the gender-wise performance gap—girls have outperformed boys once again. While girls achieved an impressive pass rate of 74%, boys lagged behind at 58.07%.
Udupi district retained its reputation for strong academic performance, securing the highest pass percentage at 94%. On the other end, Yadagiri recorded the lowest pass rate at 50.59%, indicating significant room for improvement in certain regions.
The steady improvement in Karnataka’s SSLC results signals progress in the state’s education initiatives. With the overall pass percentage rising, educators and policymakers may focus on strengthening learning outcomes further, particularly in underperforming districts.
As students and parents analyze the results, discussions around career paths, PUC admissions, and subject choices are expected to take center stage. Meanwhile, schools will likely assess their teaching methodologies to drive higher academic success in the coming years.
