Bengaluru, July 23, 2025 – The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially announced the results for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exam 3 for the academic year 2025. Students who appeared for the exam, conducted from July 5 to July 12, 2025, can now access their scorecards on the official websites: karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in.

The SSLC Exam 3 was held for repeaters and students seeking to improve their scores from the previous SSLC Exam 1 and Exam 2. The final results reflect the best marks obtained by students across all three exams, ensuring they have multiple opportunities to achieve their academic goals. This year, a total of 6,15,593 students passed in SSLC Exam 1 and 2 combined out of 8,61,800 registered candidates, achieving a pass percentage of 71.43%.

How to Check Karnataka SSLC Exam 3 Results 2025

Students can follow these simple steps to download their results:

  1. Visit the official website: karresults.nic.in or kseab.karnataka.gov.in.
  2. Click on the link labeled “SSLC 2025 EXAM – 3 RESULT.”
  3. Enter your registration number and date of birth as mentioned on your SSLC hall ticket.
  4. Click “Submit” to view your result.
  5. Download and save the marksheet for future reference.

Students are advised to verify details such as their name, registration number, and subject-wise marks on the downloaded marksheet. The online result is provisional, and students must collect their original marksheets from their respective schools.

Revaluation and Recounting Process

For students dissatisfied with their results, KSEAB has opened applications for revaluation, recounting, and obtaining scanned copies of answer sheets. The process is fully digitized to ensure transparency. Students must first request a scanned copy of their answer scripts before applying for revaluation or recounting. Applications can be submitted online through the official website from July 24, 2025. There is no fee for recounting if requested after verifying the scanned copy, but revaluation requires identifying clear discrepancies in the awarded marks. Results of revaluation or recounting will be communicated via SMS and updated with schools.

Key Statistics and Context

The SSLC Exam 1, held from March 20 to April 2, 2025, saw 8,42,173 students appear, with 5,24,984 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 62.34%. The board has also noted that no grace marks will be awarded starting from the 2024-25 academic year, reflecting a stricter evaluation policy.

What’s Next?

Students who have cleared the SSLC exams can now apply for Pre-University (PU) admissions in arts, science, or commerce streams based on their eligibility. Those who did not pass can register for the next academic year’s exams through their schools. KSEAB advises students to stay updated via official websites and avoid relying on unverified sources for result-related information.
