Bengaluru: The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 is set to take place on April 23 and 24 across multiple centres in the state, with authorities rolling out an extensive set of security and monitoring measures to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.

Strict Monitoring Across Exam Centres

Officials have announced that all examination centres will be under heightened surveillance this year. Items such as smartwatches, jewellery, and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside exam halls.

Entry into exam centres will involve thorough frisking procedures. Candidates must report well in advance to accommodate security checks. Carrying unauthorized materials, including notes or electronic devices, will lead to immediate disqualification.

Guidelines for Candidates

Officials have urged students to carefully follow all instructions mentioned on their admit cards. Late entry will not be permitted under any circumstances, and candidates must carry valid identification proof along with their hall tickets.
