KCET Registration 2025: opens tomorrow 23rd Jan 2025

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the opening of registrations for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025, starting January 23, 2025. This eagerly awaited exam serves as the primary pathway for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, Veterinary Science, and Animal Husbandry. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality & Domicile: Indian citizens with at least seven years of schooling in Karnataka or meeting specific domicile criteria.
  • Age Limit: No age limit specified.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Engineering: Class 12th/PUC with 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology.
    • Pharmacy: Class 12th/PUC with 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
    • Veterinary Science: Class 12th/PUC with 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Kannada Language Test: Required for candidates claiming Karnataka rural quota or Kannada medium.
  • Marks Relaxation: 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates in minimum marks.

  2. Register: Create an account by entering basic details like email ID and phone number.
  3. Fill the Application Form: Provide accurate personal, academic, and contact information.
  4. Upload Documents: Submit scanned copies of required documents, including your photograph and signature.
  5. Pay the Application Fee: Complete the fee payment using the available online modes.
  6. Submit and Print: Review the details, submit the form, and take a printout for future use.
