Shortlisted candidates move to the Personality Test stage for 384 Group A and Group B posts
Today, 2 March 2026, official news reports confirmed that the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has declared the results of the KAS (Gazetted Probationer) Mains Examination for the 2023–24 recruitment cycle.
The announcement marks a major milestone in the multi-stage selection process for 384 Group A and Group B posts in the Karnataka state government.
Candidates who appeared for the written Mains examination have now been shortlisted for the next phase — the Personality Test (Interview).
As per KPSC’s selection norms, candidates have been shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio against the total number of notified vacancies.
This means three candidates have been selected for the interview stage for every available post.
The result list contains only the registration numbers of qualified candidates, and those whose numbers appear in the list are now eligible to attend the Personality Test stage.
The commission has released the result in PDF format, displaying registration numbers of candidates who have cleared the Mains stage.
