The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Bengaluru campus marked a momentous milestone with its 33rd Convocation ceremony held in late November 2025. Under the radiant lights of the campus auditorium, 746 proud graduates from the Class of 2025 — including 12 newly minted PhDs — received their degrees in the presence of faculty, families, and distinguished guests.
The evening was more than a formal conferment of degrees; it was a heartfelt celebration of perseverance, curiosity, and all-round development. From cutting-edge engineering programs to management, law, and liberal arts, graduates walked across the stage equipped not just with technical expertise but with the critical thinking, empathy, and adaptability that MAHE’s holistic education model deliberately nurtures.
Chief Guest and renowned industry leader [Name if known, otherwise: a distinguished personality from the corporate world] inspired the gathering with a powerful address on the evolving demands of a technology-driven economy. “The world today doesn’t just need skilled professionals,” the Chief Guest remarked, “it needs thoughtful leaders who can solve complex problems while staying grounded in ethics and humanity — exactly what Manipal has always stood for.”
Among the many memorable moments were the presentations of gold medals to three outstanding graduates who topped their respective programs. Their journeys — marked by late-night study sessions, groundbreaking projects, and unwavering determination — served as an inspiration to their peers and juniors alike.
Equally inspiring were the 12 doctoral scholars who were conferred their PhD degrees. Their original research contributions in fields ranging from artificial intelligence and sustainable technologies to public health and humanities underscored MAHE Bengaluru’s growing stature as a serious research institution.
Throughout the ceremony, recurring themes were “industry readiness” and “lifelong learning.” Pro-Chancellor Dr. H.S. Ballal and Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M.D. Venkatesh congratulated the graduates and reminded them that their Manipal education has prepared them not just for their first job, but for a lifetime of impact.
As the new alumni stepped out wearing their graduation stoles, the sense of possibility was palpable. Armed with knowledge, values, and a powerful network, the Class of 2025 is ready to shape industries, communities, and the world at large.
Congratulations to every graduate, gold medalist, and PhD scholar! The Manipal family is immensely proud and eagerly awaits the remarkable stories you will write in the chapters ahead.
