MCC Announces Reduction in NEET PG 2024 Counselling Cut-Offs

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has lowered the cut-off percentile for NEET PG 2024 counselling. This decision, approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) in collaboration with the National Medical Commission (NMC), aims to increase the pool of eligible candidates.

Key Details

  • General/EWS Category: Candidates with a minimum of 15 percentile are eligible for counselling.
  • SC/ST/OBC/PwD Category: Candidates with a minimum of 10 percentile are eligible for counselling.
  • Round 3 Seat Allotment: The MCC is set to release the Round 3 seat allotment results on January 4, 2025.
  • Reporting Dates: Candidates who secure seats in Round 3 must report to the allotted colleges from January 6 to January 13, 2025.

Steps to Check Seat Allotment Result

  1. Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the “PG Medical” tab on the homepage.
  3. Find and click on the link for the third round counselling results.
  4. The seat allotment results will appear in a PDF format.
  5. Download and save the result for future reference.

Important Instructions

Candidates should carefully check the seat allotment results for any discrepancies and immediately report any issues to the MCC. Additionally, it is crucial to carry the printed results to the allotted colleges as it contains important details such as the college name, reporting dates, and candidate information.
