Counselling Season Begins for Medical Aspirants

Officials stated that they will investigate any discrepancies between submitted documents and official records.
AI-Generated Manipulations Raise Concerns
The NTA has highlighted the growing misuse of artificial intelligence tools to create or modify examination-related documents. Authorities have identified cases in which individuals allegedly altered scorecards and answer sheets digitally to challenge examination outcomes.
To prevent such practices, the agency has strengthened verification systems and digital authentication measures to protect the integrity of the admission process.
Strict Legal Consequences for Malpractice
The examination authority warned that candidates or individuals who use forged documents could face strict legal action. Authorities may invoke provisions of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, along with other applicable laws related to fraud and digital misconduct.
Officials reiterated that any attempt to manipulate examination records threatens the fairness of the admission process and will attract serious consequences.
Students Urged to Follow Official Channels
The NTA has encouraged candidates with genuine concerns about their results or admissions to use official grievance redressal mechanisms. Authorities have also urged students and parents to rely only on official notifications and verified information throughout the counselling process.
