Register for NATA 2017 now

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture, 2017 (NATA-2017) application process has started on the official website, http://www.nata.in/

All the candidates are requested to complete the registration process latest by February 2, 2017.

The examination will be conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) on April 16.

The exam is conducted for granting admission into first year of 5-year BArch degree course at various institutions in India for the academic session 2017-2018.

The NATA score card is valid for two years from the year of appearing.

In order to apply for the same, all the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

Click on relevant link
Enter all the required details in prescribed format
Complete the application process
Click to submit
Take a printout of the same for future reference
Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

The candidates should have completed SSC (class 10) or equivalent examination.

For BArch course, students should have cleared class 12 or equivalent exam with mathematics subject.

Earlier, the exam used to be conducted in a multiple-day windows in two phases, but now, it would be held on a single day only. The dates for the issuance of the application form, last date for the registration, admit card, etc will be released soon.

Paper pattern:

The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.

Important dates:

Last date to register: February 2, 2017
Date of exam: April 16 from 11 am to 2 pm

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.
