Registration open for Advanced Program (AP) exams 2015

Students interested in taking the college board Advanced Program (AP) exams can register now.

Registration for the Advanced Program (AP) exams in 23 different subjects for high school students in India is open from Feb 2015 to March 27, 2015.  

The 2015 AP Exams will be held from May 4–15, 2015. The deadline to register is March 27, 2015.

The College Board authorizes educational organizations like the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) and selects schools in India to securely administer AP Exams at designated test centers. The 2015 AP Exams will be held in 11 cities in India: Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Rajkot.

Students must be under 21 years of age (born after May 31, 1994) in order to take AP Exams in India. Students will not be permitted to take AP Exams in India without a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. Passport, Aadhar Card).

Students are required to submit an online registration form and then submit payment to their chosen test center to complete registration (read further details below under 2015 AP India Exam Registration Process).

2015 AP Exam Schedule

Below is a schedule of the AP Exams that will be offered in India in 2015. Please note that AP Language Exams, AP Studio Art, and AP Music Theory are not offered at test centers in India. Students interested in taking these exams should contact the College Board’s India Representative, Lisa Jain, at LJain-nonemp@collegeboard.org.

  • Studio Art (2-D, 3-D or Drawing) — last day for AP Coordinators to submit digital portfolios (by 8 p.m. EDT) and to gather 2-D Design and Drawing students for physical portfolio assembly.

2015 AP Exam Fees in India

The 2015 fee per AP Exam at authorized test centers in India is Rs. 8,900: Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Rajkot.

The 2015 fee per AP Exam at the following centers is Rs. 9,500: Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

*Note: In Chennai, the fee per exam for AP Physics 2 and AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism, is Rs. 9,500.
