In a major development for medical aspirants in Karnataka, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the revised provisional seat allotment results for the third round of UGNEET-2025 counselling today (December 6, 2025).
This revised list comes in compliance with a recent Karnataka High Court order that quashed the earlier provisional allotment list published on October 24, 2025, and directed KEA to conduct a fresh allotment exercise to ensure fairness and transparency.
The High Court intervened after several petitions highlighted irregularities and demanded inclusion of newly added seats in the ongoing counselling rounds. The court ruled that excluding these seats had adversely affected the merit position of many candidates.
As part of the redo, KEA has now incorporated:
This has significantly expanded the total pool of seats available in the third round.
| Event | Deadline / Date |
|---|---|
| Revised provisional seat allotment released | December 6, 2025 (Today) |
| Last date to raise objections (via email) | December 7, 2025 – 3:00 PM |
| Final seat allotment result | After 11:00 AM on December 8, 2025 |
| Payment of fees | By December 10, 2025 |
| Last date to report to allotted college | December 11, 2025 |
If you believe there is a mistake in seat allocation, rank discrepancy, or category error, you can raise an objection by sending an email to keauthority-ka@nic.in before 3 PM on December 7, 2025. Make sure to attach supporting documents and clearly mention your CET number and the nature of the objection.
KEA has stated that no objections will be entertained after the deadline.
After verifying the objections, KEA will publish the final third-round seat allotment after 11 AM on December 8. Candidates who are allotted seats in this final list must complete the fee payment by December 10 and report to their respective colleges by December 11, failing which the seat will be forfeited.
This revised allotment affects admissions to both government quota seats and private quota seats (including NRI/Management) across all medical and dental colleges in Karnataka.
The Karnataka High Court’s intervention has given many students a fresh chance—especially those who missed out earlier due to the non-inclusion of new seats. If you were waiting for justice or a better college, this is the moment to stay extremely alert and act quickly.
Bookmark the KEA website, keep your documents ready, and don’t miss the tight deadlines.
Wishing all UGNEET-2025 aspirants the very best—may you secure the seat and college you truly deserve!
