A career guidance conference is being organised by GITAM University in association with The Hindu School Edition on January 20 at 9.30 a.m. in Sindhi PU College, Kempapura, Hebbal.
The conference is intended to create awareness among intermediate students on professional and general higher education courses, selection of engineering branches and selection of institutes, a release said. At the conference, experts would also deal with how to choose the best engineering, pharmacy or architecture colleges. The event will have expert lectures on science programmes, opportunities, research and national-level tests, it added. 0The conference will also cover management education, particularly at the undergraduate level. It will have details on opportunities for post-graduate management students and budding managers. Experts will also give brief information about the standards of higher education vis-à-vis the functional role of other statutory agencies, such as the AICTE, MCI and DCI. There will be a special question and answer session.
