Students from Bangalore to visit Malta

Eight school students from Bangalore are a part of a delegation flying to Malta in south Europe on a nine-day national exchange programme.Students from three schools in Bangalore-DPS (South and East) and Sudarshan Vidya Mandir- have been picked for the programme, organized by the University of Malta and the Malta embassy. The workshops will be based on STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).

The students will attend workshops at the 400-year-old university, visit companies like Microsoft and Lufthansa Tech and departments like marine observation. They will get a feel of the culture as they attend the fireworks fest apart from a visit to the embassy.

The exchange programme has in all 30 students from India participating in it.
