Bengaluru, India – Japanese biopharmaceutical giant Takeda has inaugurated its first Innovation Capability Center (ICC) in Asia, located in Bengaluru. This marks a significant milestone in Takeda’s global digital transformation journey, with the center focusing on developing advanced healthcare solutions leveraging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and digital health platforms1.

The Bengaluru ICC is Takeda’s third such center, following similar facilities in Slovakia and Mexico. The center aims to enhance patient care by developing personalized tools to help patients manage complex conditions, multi-language digital platforms to improve care accessibility, and data-driven insights to inform healthcare strategies2.
