New Delhi, 13th May 2020
: In a bid to identify future leaders of India, Safejob, a personalized job readiness, training, and placement platform, has launched a one of a kind virtual event called the Great Indian Discussion Championship, in short, the GRID. As a part of this initiative, Safejob is all set to organize India’s first Inter College Group Discussion championship in the months of May-June 2020. The main objective of this initiative is to seek, nurture and reward communicators and problem-solvers in Indian colleges today. The GRID will cover 120+  colleges pan India, followed by a National Level Championship, which will be live-streamed on FB.

The GRID’s participants will compete on intra-college, zonal, and national levels. Safejob will shortlist 6 students from every participating college and 20 zonal winners will be announced through its social channels and the official safejob.in portal. The zonal level winners will be competing at the national level and the final showdown will be held between 3 national winners. The students will be shortlisted based on their communication skills and knowledge and will be selected majorly from tier 2 – tier 4 cities to bring them the best learning opportunities even during the current situation.

Divya Jain, Founder, Safejob said, “While the lockdown might persist for the foreseeable future, we are striving to rejuvenate and rekindle the spirit of students and colleges alike throughout the country in these troubling times. We want to encourage students to find their voice and develop a sense of confidence and competition. We sincerely hope that through this challenge, we can prepare the students to be better at solving problems that they may face in the future.”

Safejob has invited over 120 colleges and trainers for the event through mailers and post-college onboarding. The brand has also driven engagement through banners, posters, and a student registration webpage. On the back of such endeavors, the championship is projected to reach 146,400 people and receive more than 6000 registrations. Through the one-of-its-kind initiative, Safejob is uniquely encouraging students to come forth and exchange ideas through a healthy discussion and develop a sense of confidence and competition.
