The Sports School Introduces “Krida”: A Game-Changing Educational Initiative

Bangalore, December 28, 2024 – The Sports School, renowned as India’s pioneering institute that blends academics and sports, has launched a groundbreaking program named “Krida” in collaboration with the Prayoga Institute of Education Research. Unveiled on December 20, 2024, at The Sports School campus on Kanakapura Road, this initiative is set to revolutionize the educational landscape by integrating sports with academic learning.

Key Features of “Krida”:

• Target Group: Designed for students from Grades 5-12.
• Curriculum Integration: Aligned with the NCERT syllabus, “Krida” marries physical activities with academic subjects, especially Science and Math, to make learning more dynamic and engaging.
• Teaching Methodology: Emphasizes hands-on activities and games to cultivate critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Inauguration Event: The launch event featured prominent figures such as Padma Bhushan awardee and Chief National Coach of the Indian badminton team, Mr. Pullela Gopichand, along with Mr. Vallish Herur, Managing Trustee of Prayoga Institute, and Shri Dilip Kumar, Rainmatter Endurance Athlete.
