UG NEET Document Verification Schedule and additional instructions

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released on its website the KEA NEET Document Verification Schedule 2018 for Karnataka, non-Karnataka and NRI/PIO/OCI candidates along with Foreign Nationals.

The KEA released verification schedule for Karnataka candidates with NEET All India Rank from 1 to 757,569; for non-Karnataka candidates who have secured NEET All India Rank from 1 to 634,897 and for NRI/PIO/OCI/Foreign Nationals having NEET All India Rank from 1 to 634,897.

“The verification of documents will be conducted at Bangalore, Bijapur, Bidar, Belgaum, Bellary, Davangere, Dharward, Gulbarga, Hassan, Karwar, Koppal, Mysore, Mangalore, Raichur, Shimoga, Tumkur Helpline Centres”, KEA said in the official release.

“Eligible candidates have to attend the verification with all the necessary original documents and one set of attested photocopies in any of the Helpline Centres. However, NRI / NRI WARDS / PIO / OCI / FOREIGN NATIONALS / and candidates eligible to claim category-2 to category-8 of St. John Medical College have to attend verification only at Bangalore”, it said.

“Non-Karnataka candidates are not eligible for reservation. Hence, in the UG NEET-2018 examination, if they have scored the required minimum marks or above fixed for others category as per the qualifying criteria i.e. 50th Percentile, then only they are eligible to register or attend the document verification for admissions through KEA or for any other seats in the state of Karnataka. Please note that SC/ST/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka SC/ST/OBC candidates only”, the KEA said.

“Submission of Special category certificates – (Karnataka) The Karnataka candidates who are eligible to claim NCC, Sports, Defence, Ex-defence, CAPF, Ex-CAPF, Anglo Indians and who have not submitted the special category certificates have to submit the respective certificates on June 29, 2018 at KEA Bangalore from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm”, the KEA said.

The list of candidates applied under Physically Disabled category is hosted on the KEA Website. Medical Examination for such Physically Disabled candidates (Karnataka) will be conducted on 30-06-2018 – 11.00 am and verification of documents for the eligible Physically Disabled candidates will be conducted on the same day i.e., on June 30, 2018 after 2.00 pm.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) had released on Saturday June 23, 2018 the list of candidates who have registered for admission in MBBS and BDS colleges, government and private, in the state of Karnataka for the acedmic year 2018-19.

How to Check KEA NEET Karnataka List 2018

  1. Click here to go to the official website: KEA Karnataka NEET 2018 Counselling Round 1.
  2. Look for the link marked with “Candidates List 2018 Round 1”.
  3. Login using your User ID and Password if asked.
  4. Follow the instructions and proceed.

Earlier, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) had launched a special portal for UG NEET 2018 Combined and Common Counselling for admission to UG Medical and Dental courses for all Government, Private (Including Minority), NRI and Others seats for the year 2018-19 in the state of Karnataka.

The online registration was started on June 15, 2018 and the last date to apply was June 21, 2018 up to 5.30 pm by visiting KEA Website. Last date to pay the registration fees was June 22, 2018.

For further details, applicants can download and read the Information Bulletin UG NEET-2018 and understand the eligibility conditions, classification of seats (different types of category of seats) and eligibility to claim such seats which are hosted on the KEA Website kea.kar.nic.in.
