University of Southampton announces Scholarships, covering full tuition fee for select PG programmes

The UK-based University of Southampton, in collaboration with the British Council and GREAT Britain Campaign, has announced up to three GREAT Scholarships 2019-India for Indian students who want to pursue a Postgraduate taught (Masters) degree programme at the University in the session starting from September 2019. Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fee for the student for aone year Masters programme.

These scholarships are applicable for select postgraduate taught programmes at University of Southampton: MA Luxury Brand Management, LLM Maritime Law, MSc Actuarial Science, MSc Data Science and MSC Entrepreneurship & Management.

Applicants for the GREAT Scholarships 2019-India must be Indian nationals residing in India at the time of application and they must have completed their secondary education in India. They should also hold an unconditional offer letter for the eligible postgraduate taught programme at the University starting from September 2019. While the scholarship covers the full tuition fee for a one year Masters programme, other costs such as travel and living expenses are not covered under the scholarship.

The candidates will be required to complete the scholarship expression of interest form by 8th May 2019. The University will then nominate three candidates to the British Council and invite them to complete the application process by 31stMay 2019.The applications for the nominated candidates will be reviewed by a select panel based on set parameters and they will be notified of the outcome of their applications in July 2019.
