CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025: Registration Details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened registration for the 2025 supplementary exams for Class 10 and Class 12 students, particularly private candidates and those with compartment results. The registration process began on May 30, 2025, and the deadline for submitting the List of Candidates (LOC) without a late fee was June 17, 2025. Schools can submit LOC with a late fee until June 19, 2025, as per the official CBSE notification.

  • Eligibility: Only students whose results were declared as “compartment” in the 2025 CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 board exams are eligible. Regular students must apply through their affiliated schools, which use their affiliation number and existing password to log in to the Pariksha Sangam portal for LOC submission.
  • Exam Dates: Both Class 10 and Class 12 supplementary exams are scheduled to begin on July 15, 2025. The full datesheet will be available on cbseacademic.nic.in.
  • Registration Process: Private candidates can apply directly via cbse.gov.in by navigating to the “Private Candidate Supplementary Examination 2025” section, filling in details, selecting subjects, uploading documents, and paying the application fee. Accuracy is crucial, as no corrections are allowed post-submission.
  • Syllabus: The exams will follow the 2024–25 academic session syllabus, available on the CBSE academic website.
  • Admit Cards: Expected to be released in the first week of July 2025.

Students are advised to contact their schools immediately to ensure timely registration, as only those listed in the LOC will be allowed to appear for the exams.
