New Delhi, September 14, 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rescheduled its 4th National Summit on “Facilitating School-to-Work Transition”. The summit, which was earlier scheduled for September 23–24, 2026, will now be held on October 26–27, 2026, in New Delhi.

According to a CBSE notification issued on September 3, the change has been made due to administrative reasons.

New Dates and Venue

The 4th National Summit on “Facilitating School-to-Work Transition” will now take place on:

  • Dates: October 26–27, 2026
  • Venue: Dr. Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC)
  • Address: 15, Janpath Road, Windsor Place, New Delhi – 110001

The summit was originally scheduled for September 23–24.

Registration Reopened

Along with announcing the revised dates, CBSE has also reopened the registration link for new participants following requests from various schools.

The revised last date for registration is September 15, 2026.

Schools and participants who have already registered for the summit do not need to register again. CBSE has confirmed that their existing registrations will remain valid for the rescheduled dates.

Focus on School-to-Work Transition

The national summit focuses on the transition of students from school education to further education, skills and employment. The initiative is particularly relevant as schools increasingly look at ways of strengthening career awareness, vocational exposure and employability-oriented learning.

The summit is expected to provide a platform for schools and education stakeholders to discuss approaches that can help students develop skills and prepare for changing academic and workplace environments.

Important Information for Schools

CBSE has advised schools and participants to take note of the revised schedule. Institutions that have not yet registered but wish to participate should complete the registration process by September 15, 2026.

Participants who registered under the earlier schedule should not submit a fresh registration, as their existing registration will continue to be valid.

CBSE has stated that all other details and instructions contained in its earlier Circular No. Skill-42/2026 dated June 17, 2026, will remain unchanged.
